This was an amazing movie!!!! I saw it so many times and i thought it was excellent!!! It`s realy long but I still did`nt want it to end, I can`t wait for the next two to come out, I just hope that they will also be amazing too, actually I think that they`re going to be amazing because Peter Jackson is a great director! Really good choice of characters, (Elijah Wood/Frodo, and Orlando Bloom/Legolas, both soooooooo hott!!!!), and the rest of the cast did really well too!! BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!....Lita Heart

Although a huge fan will always say that the movie is never as good as the book, would be correct, but also wrong. Because what Peter Jackson and an all star cast and crew have done is bring your imagination to life! The fx are not the only staggering part of this movie... but the integration of lines and such to make a 7hour movie into 3 hours is absolutly incredible! My hats off and a roaring round of applause to director, cast, and crew! Those who have seen it will go again, and those who haven`t... should.

FANTASTIC! The movie brought the images from the book to life. The screen treatment was very faithful to the intent of the books, and in some places improved it. (Though I didn`t agree with all of the changes that the sreenwriter made to the original storyline). The acting was phenomenal, and the effects were spectacular.

It brought the book to life without a lot of hollywood jazz. Very real, it looked like the world that Tolkien created.

Well, after waiting for over a year to see the movie, I did. I have to agree that it was well made, I just wonder about the length. I saw it on Tuesday night, before the official release, and going to a 10:30pm showing, not knowing it was a 3 hour movie was a mistake. I will definitely go and see it again (just little earlier). As for the movie itself, it is well made, I just wish they did not weaken Frodo`s character that much. He rode the horse into Rivendell, and he himself decided to leave the fellowship. In the movie Arwen saved him, and at the end Aragorn told him to go. Other than that it was very true to the book and very entertainin
