  I thought the Lord of the rings was the best movie in the entire world! It does not connect with the book that well, but it is as close as there going to get, seeing how it it is already 3 hours long! I can`t wait until 2002 to see the second movie "the two towers", or the year after that to see the return of the king!"For all of you who havnt seen it I reccomend you do!! I love Orlando Bloom (Legolas)

  I really loved the movie! Yeah it was kind of long but really was amazing with special effects and those goblins, monsters and stuff everything was amazing! I laughted, I cried, I even got scared I admit but I really loved the movie! :)

  This movie is incredible, I could find no flaws in any aspect of it. The feeling I felt afterward was pure joy, and I could hardly wait to see it again, which is what i have done. it`s even better the second time around.

  I can`t see a better video interpretation of this book being possible. Excellent in every way. Three hours was just long enough to entertain character and detail development without dragging.

  For those who said it sucked, obviously you have no imagination and you should stick to children movies. This movie was beautiful, very thought out, and everything that a fantasy movie should be.

  This is one of the few movies I`ve ever seen that lived up to all the hype around it in the media. Saying that, it`s also the first movie I ever went to see on opening week end, as I normally don`t bother going to the cinema much. The story was interesting, the characters believeable (Elijah Wood does look a lot like sketches I`ve seen of Frodo in some books), and it`s captivating. Just don`t like I have to wait until next Christmas for more of it! lol, it was just brilliant all around, and since I`ve started reading the books, I have noticed some differances between the two, but not enough that it ruins the story.
