Wow, what a movie! The cinematography was outstanding. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy deliver excellent performances. The storyline was simple but everything about it was impactful. I must admit it was a bit too violent for me but it is in context of the time period.

Talk about "Having such a bad day" It was one damn thing after another. Very graphic, yet realistic! It's amazing what the human body can endure.... The cinematography was astounding! Very beautiful scenery!

Horrible movie. And that bear had every right to attack Glass, he should have left her cubs alone. Why are movies so violent these days? Is Hollywood trying to incite hatred amongst people? WTF?

Many lessons to be learned by watching. The mentality of of non-Native Americans with their ways vs American Indians and their ways. Both living off the land with different mind sets, the way each treated their own. Glass should have known to leave the young bear dubs alone as the mother bear will protect. Lesson to learn. The lesson of interpretation of personal religion. Lesson of prejudice, lies, deceit and greed. Very well done movie of how life was and is. I will watch it again. Good acting!

I LOVED this movie! The acting all around was excellent. Leonardo was absolutely wonderful. The BEST I have seen him. It was pretty intense and a lot of the scenes were hard to watch, violently gruesome but the production and how they shot the scenes they had were unbelievably well done. The only thing I would say after all that happened was that the ending was a bit strange for me but you'll have to see it to form your own opinion.

Very good acting. The bear scene was fantastic. Would love to know how they made it look so real.

I had high hopes for this movie, but it failed. Still was alright and does deserve some Oscar nominees, but overall, it wasn't the best. I really thought that Leonardo was going to win an Oscar from this movie based off of the reviews and what people said, but that changed quickly.

Considering the amount of crap films made today, this one is a keeper. The cinematography alone is incredible, DiCaprio was his best yet ! Very good chance to be academy Winner. Only con is it was a little long but I say 8/10

I really enjoyed the movie but I must say you need to prepare yourself for a LOT of violence. It was well acted, especially the part by Tom Hardy, which in my opinion should be the person up for an Oscar. Although Leo did a good job as well I really felt like Tom was the stellar role. Beautiful scenery, epic story, excellent movie.

Beautiful scenery, acting was good but too much Hollywood. I was disappointed....too much hype about a so-so film.
