  Magnificent landscapes and fresh story telling combine for a visual and entertaining spectacle well worth the dollar to see it on the big screen. Dicaprio continues to demonstrate his acting chops. Different and enjoyable.

  I was pleasantly surprised. Being a 75 yr. old female I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did. I thought it was a good movie. The story was very interesting and the cinematography was great. Not sure if DiCaprio's acting was Oscar worthy, but he was good.

  This movie slowly crawled across the snow. If it wasn't for the bear attack scene I'd rank it lower. Overhyped, not much dialogue. Don't spend money on this.

  Brilliant film. Loved its power its visual beauty its historical significance and representation. And the cultural valies portrayed between trappers and natives.

  One of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. Acting incredible, cinematography brilliant, musical score amazing. I wish more movies were made like this.

  I found the dialogue difficult to understand and the story line a little bit preposterous . I was a bit disappointed.
