  The special affects were breath taking. Sandra Bullock gave the performance of a lifetime. Great film.

  I have watched it and I am delighted. It might be the the best film this year. A human alone in space faces the coldness of the universe and death, river ganges (river in hindu religion which washes your sins away) is pointed out, the protagonist is in fetus position before falls down to Earth in fire, rises from the ocean, crawls, rises wavering, walks like an ape until at last straigthens up to walk like a human to see the same world from a different percpective. It is a darwinian rebirth of human. By understanding space we can appreciate our planet a bit more. This was intended by the director in my opinion. Any ways deffinetly a movie that must be wached great storyline by the way.

  I usually prefer to see movies in 2D, but this is the first one I'm glad I saw in 3D. It's what 3D was made for. Astounding visuals, incredible acting, and on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense and psychological terror. Amazing movie through and through. The only way it could have been better is if I'd seen it in IMAX.
