  A good reason to check out this movie is also the mixture of effects, CGI, and green screen work. Given the film is essentially fully carried by Clooney and Bullock ... plenty of movie magic is in place to make us believe they're way up there in space. Definitely an impressive movie feat.

  This is a very enjoyable engaging movie that engulfs you with superlative visual effects and cinematography. It pushes aesthetic boundaries and utilises 3D technology to its full potential. Provides laughs, tears and a whole lot of tension. It is one of the best movies this year, and will undoubtedly go down as a classic for the foreseeable future – a huge success

  Weak and predictable story line with best feature of movie being the special effects. Acting was OK , at best. Difficult to feel empathetic for the characters.

  Great thriller movie. Sandra Bullock and George Clooney did a excellent job acting in this movie.I was very excited throughout the whole movie. I give this movie 4 stars.
