I took my mother to see this and even though she swore she would not watch the 'arm-cutting' scene, she ended up watching every second of it! Why? As she described to me, the quality of the scenes was top-notch and done so creatively and with such suspense, she could not take her eyes off the screen. I would have to agree with this synopsis. Top-rate editing, I predict an award for this category. Great music from A.R. Rahman. Awesome acting display by Mr. James Franco. Thanks again director Danny Boyle for a great entertainment.

Very intense movie. Franco deserves an Oscar, as does Boyle for direction.

Beautifully made. Extraordinary pictures and frame composition. This tragic story, is quite refreshing. We all have boulders which trap us, don’t we?
