  This movie was over-rated due to Danny Boyle's string of successes in film-making and Franco's reputation as a "good" actor. The plot is really drawn out with flashbacks of the main character's life as a selfish individual. I couldn't find a connection to the film even though I am an outdoor enthusiast; I blame the film for that since Boyle focused more on making a film look "cool" with its effects and soundtrack. In all fairness, if it hadn't been so hyped up, I would've liked it better.

  This was an amazing movie! James Franco did a fantastic job of portraying a guy who is caught between a rock & a hard place -literally! It was edge of your seat riveting, devastating, sad and happy all at the same time. I loved it!

  This was a good movie about how far we are willing to go in order to survive. It is a triumphant true story about a man who is forced to put his strenght, body and mind to the ultimate test.

  This was an excellent movie, it was exciting and there was a few scenes I found myself holding my breath. When I first seen the preview I though that it was probably going to be boring especially being shot in a some what of a cave with just one actor. I soon found out how wrong i was and how great of a movie it was!
