The fight scenes may be well choreographed...??, the camera flashed so much i hardly saw a thing. . I almost forced myself to nod off at times figuring that the sudden change in music from solemn to action would wake me. I walked away with only one thought that i liked. The king says he will not stop after he brings the country under rule. The lesson gived to him by the long drawn out telling and retelling of the scenes leading up to the anticlimax, was that there was a time to set down your sword. You then get to the end of the movie to find he erected the wall of china. mission a

I sincerely hope that anyone who reads the negative comments on this forum do not let it discourage them from seeing the movie. Unless you are illiterate or absolutely cannot follow subtitles, there is no vlid reason to miss out on this masterpiece. It is a richly profound experience that should not be missed because of something as trivial as, "The actors don`t speak English! *waah!*"

Why do so many Asian movies end this way? I mean drama is good, but I`m getting sick of all the melodrama.

I thought Hero was kind of fake. People are flying and floating all over the place. It`s not very realisitic. The story line itself was ok but the special effects kind of sucked.

I think that too many people in these columns misunderstand movies. One guy said he couldn`t read the titles and left. Dont worry, Resident Evil is playing just next door. I understand there isnt even talking in that movie. You will understand it clearly, no doubt. People who appreciate symbolism, art and good direction, will enjoy this movie, although its message takes some thinking.

The story line in this movie and the element are unique. The theme is not base on fight or killing. Its about doing what is right even if you are not for it
