An absolutely stunning piece of art, the BEST of the BEST in Fung Fu films so far to-date! Director ZHANG Yi-Mou brought a piece of Chinese history into the western world !! Bravo !!!

Although not a movie for the average movie goer, Hero is a movie for intellectuals and critics. It`s a beautiful masterpiece, comparable to the likes of Rashomon and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Not everyone should watch this movie... only those who think they can appreciate the significance of the elements that make a good movie.

It`s an absolutely beautiful movie to watch. The sceneries and use of colour are fanastic and something that hasn`t been equalled. Too bad the message that they show at the end makes it seem like a propaganda film created by the Chinese government. Could this be the next "Birth of a Nation" or "Triumph of the Will"? Even so, it`s still one of the best movies I`ve ever seen.

I loved the movie....I saw it on DVD though. It was a bad idea to bring this movie to America after the DVD have been released in Asia for about a year now. It will really hurt the sales of this movie in the box offices. I will go watch the movie in theaters to support it. ZHANG ZIYI IS BEUTIFUL...I LOVE YOU! =)
