Don't listen to the negative hype, see it for yourself, one of the better movies this year. This is fiction after all. I'll pay to go see it again.

It's a great movie. Holds your interest all the way through. There certainly was a story line. We really enjoyed it and the comments while we were walking out at the end were - great movie...

I agree, really a silly story line, not realistic at all. Idle banter back and forth with Sandra and George. Sandra does heavy breathing very well but definitely not oscar material. I wish I had waited for the reviews before I rushed out a bought Imax tickets. My husband asked if we should buy the DVD when it comes out, I said "no thanks".

Not the kind of movie where you fall in love with the characters and care whether or not they survive. Acting? not really. Photography probably the best part of the whole movie. I do like both these actors but still disappointed.

Not worth the hype. this movie was just thin on plot and in the end felt like a 50 minute trailer. Wife and I concur.

Love Sandra, just not in this movie. Never heard so many ah's in a movie. at east 40% of her lines were a series of ah ah ah ah's. Typical female in stress. Solving her lack of oxygen issue, she made it to a Russian station where after looking at a book and clicking a few buttons she then made her way to a Chinese station. Once there, grabbed a book clicked a few buttons and bang, she was back on earth Oh! sadly, George died about 30 mins into the movie. So ended his part. Nice space scenes. What should have been a great movie was a flop. A (B) movie at best. Sandra can't possibly be proud of this one. Count how many times she says - AH.

Like most over PR'd movies prior to launch, it met my expectations. It was a solid 3.5 out of 5 ... as plot rather weak, and highlight was more or less seeing different parts of the Earth from space.
