  Far too violent. Can not understand why parents would take their children to see this movie. Not a great deal of life lessons to be learned here for them. Costumes...excellent, time period portrayed excellent...acting excellent. But..I walked out of the movie.

  With Bond losing its sense of humor, Sherlock can take up the slack. Great movie. Sometimes couldn't hear or understand RD-his upper lip hides his enunciation. Also, where's the cocaine and the needle? SH loved it. But fantastic scenes. Great film.

  I loved the chemistry between Jude Law and Robert Downey, Jr. RDJ's Holmes was excellent; with his wisecracking, semi-sarcastic wit and his unhesitation to get right into the thick of things, I feel he presented much more of a realistic picture of the real Sherlock Holmes. A note to reveiwer #5: stay in school, honey, and you might learn how to spell. How can anyone take a review like that seriously?
