  I believe this was one the best movies ever to be made, especially one based on a book. I pity those who watched the movies and have not read the books and then criticise the movie for it`s storyline or the way the ending dragged on. The ending was long because the ending in the book was long. They even cut parts out of the ending. A book can tell us exactly what the character is feeling. I believe that Peter Jackson and the cast have done just that in all three movies. I gave it a 5 out of 5.

  pretty awesome movie!! most people found the length pretty bad but i thought that it added to it...the whole shire thing really ended the movie well!

  WELL WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT L.O.T.R? HMMM... CAN U SAY MIND BLOWING ,EMOTIONALLY DEEP, LIFE CHANGING, INSPIRING, BEAUTIFUL, HAUNTING, NAIL BITING, ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, BREATH TAKING MOVIE OF THIS DECADE. THERE HASN`T BEEN A MOVIE LIKE THIS SINCE THE DAYS OF STAR WARS, THE MATRIX (1ST MOVIE) ETC.ALL 3 MOVIES TOTALLY WAS TRUE TO THE BOOK THE WHOLE THING FROM THE EPIC BATTLE TO TEAR JERKER END...(yes.. a guy can get emotional 2) TRULLY THIS IS A CLASSIC! end

  A liitle drawn out in some scenes, but to be expected since there is a lot of loose ends to tie up. Battle scenes were awesome but not as good as the second. A real finality to the trilogy.
