  The Lord of The Rings has set a new standard for movie making. This was by far the best movie I ever saw. The sheer magnitude and vast scope of the film was breathtaking. I heard that the Hobbit will be released on December 19th 2006. Can`t wait to see it .

  This movie was really great but honestly could of been cut down to like 2 - 2and a half hours no problem, it was deffinately dragged out to much, but its worth seeing.

  How often is it we see a sequel, much less the third part of a trilogy, outshine the previous parts? Or a 3+ hour movie feel like it runs for 2 hours? 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!!

  this movie was truly amazing. I can`t beleive it was actually over 3 hours long. seems like time just passed by. it is really worth seeing on the big screen if you saw the other 2 movies.

  A difficult book to bring to life but Peter Jackson did this with amazing success. For those who enjoy the world of Tolkien, I hope they enjoy the magic of all of the extra`s, special effects, etc. and the actors who really made the trilogy worth seeing not once but many times without ever losing interest with the story line. Thank you

  so-so it`s worth watching but go to a cheap theater or wait till it comes out on dvd and vhs.

  This movie is a masterpiece. Peter Jackson is a genius who not only took special effects to a new level, but created an enormous piece of art that nobody would be able to trace it "with a stencil." His creativity will live on in eternity and the cast members were amazing. I am still amazed. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY

  This movie was one of the best I have seen in years, As a hardcore Lotr fan I think Peter Jackson did an excellent job in capturing the book`s magic. The actors put their whole heart into the film making it a masterpiece. Superb job Peter, We love you! Abigail, :)
