Incredibly boring and badly miscast. Ruffalo as a wrestler? A poodle could tear that beta wimp into pieces! Give us a break!

It never rises above the level of a made-for-tv movie from the 1980s. Boring and massively overpraised.

Boring movie. Shallow characterizations. No suspense. No surprises. The casting of the boring, hate-mongering sadsack Ruffalo is clue that they weren't really trying with this one. Pathetic soy-boy Ruffalo has to be one of the very worst actors ever.

Freaked me out!...a slow-paced thriller. Great performances by all, especially Tatum. Really well done.

So tired of Hollywood trashy films. This film is an insult to the Oscar "Best Movie" category. Carrell was wooden. C. Tatum mumbled and sulked throughout the whole fim. Strong suggestion of gay relationship was completely untrue according to real Mark Schultz. Female characters barely alive. Stop going to these films until Hollywood recognizes true genius like "American Sniper" and Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper.

I read e reviews before going to see it and I almost didn't go because of what the majority said but I must say I didn't agree with any of them I felt it was a good movie, not great but I'm glad I went but then I'm a sucker for true stories.

The acting was good I felt like I spent the longest "week" of my life watching this movie. I can't wait for the DVD to be released. I'm going to buy it because it's cheaper than sleeping pills and will be work much faster.

True story. Later read about this and very impressed with the fact it seemed to follow the actual true story. Acting is excellent.

A movie that, if not based on a true story, would have been too weird for the screen. Although it suffers most of the film moves at a tepid pace the real interest comes from how we see John du Pont react to someone so far out of his world and understanding. Rich movie that I didn't really grasp onto the first time but look forward to seeing again.
