  an excellent film. Ryan Gosling is amazing as a man caught between ambition and ideals. Phiilp Seymour Hoffman plays his part with his usual natural aplume while Paul Giametti is the perfect foil. George is the pretty boy who screws up and tries to look innnocent as a newborn babe but as director/prodcer he lets his cast spread their wings...but they could have gone further.

  I really enjoyed this movie,my one issue is that the entire time you are watching it, it is very obvious that this movie was made with the intent to be an Oscar contender. Yet still worth seeing.

  One of best this year,,,Ryan Gostlin(from Cornwall ,Ontario) is one of the best Characters that is plying today,Phillip Syemere Hoffan,,,is a believable charactor...All in All A fabulous film..Hope the Acedemy gives the film the highest marks.

  About american politics and a sleeper. Not one of Clooney's best or average movie. Make sure you have plenty of snacks to amuse you.
