It wasn't even that scary! The plot was predictable and the actors sucked.

I didn't walk into this movie expecting this to be a thriller...certainly not a horror movie. But you know what? If you enjoy fairly bad horror movies where you laugh your butt off and have a good time watching in, then see this movie! I walked out extremely entertained, having enjoyed excellent puns, decent music and a long range of really great shots.

Honestly, I enjoyed it. However it contains a lot of routine scenes, but the aim of horror movie is to create scary scenes as many as possible, not more than that. Although in some cases some movies follow a philosophical concept, in general horror movies is not expected to be like this.

good movie but its not the best nightmare on elm i agree, and before i go i just wanted to comment that going with wes cravens original idea of a child molester as apposed to a child murder was a good idea. Yes those who actually know the movie series he wanted kruger to be a molester but changed it as when he was writeing/filming the first one in california there was alot of molester's going around and he did not want to make a tribute to them or be seen as trying to cash in on horrible crimes so he made him a murderer instead. As for a previous reviewer's comment of "who would want to dress up as a diddler for halloween" i would answer is a child murderer is better?, or how about a mass ca

It was good in my opinion but it wasn't very scary. At some parts it was extremely stupid, but if you like freddy/horror movies, give it shot!

They turned Freddy from a child killer to a child molester, that part of the story is not cool. How can anyone want to dress up as a diddler for Halloween. They ruined the story and could have at least popped a top or two. My 11n yr old son was scared a bit so worth price of admission but not the best slasher flick.
