  while the action and special effects were excellent, the overall feel of the movie was lacking the spirit of the first two. The new director it seems could not grasp what Bryan Singer did in making the first two.

  Great Movie as far as action sequences and special effects are concerned, however, for fans of the comics, I have one piece of advice, clear your mind before going in.

  It did seem to wrap up all the last stories but I was looking for a stronger standup from the mutants not only 4 of them being there and still winning. Also, I am still waiting to see OK what was the use of having the boy in the film in the first place?!!! They could have even put a plant there and not have made any difference. However you may see that I rated 4 stars for it why? well b/c It had great visual effects and some sceens where actually better but over all ... I wish they had had a better script in the first place.

  Excellent movie, hopefully we`ll see more of the X-Men series to include all the other characters that have not made the first three movies. It was great to see the all the different kinds of mutants and hopefully we`ll see more in the future.

  The movie was by far one of the best releases this year. The story line although a bit weak with regards to the characters held my attention throughout. More emphasis on the special powers/mutations of the characters would have grasped more of my attention. Cheers Steve
