  If you have never seen a x-man movie or have any mutant knowledge this movie would have been excellent. Having been an avid collector since Xavier recruited Wolvie and company to rescue the originals from island there are just to many inconsistencies and time-line mistakes to truly enjoy.

  Excellent plot of the origins of the X-men. A good story that includes some historical events involving the Russians, Nazis,and the Cuban Missile crisis. Develops each character really well & never a boring moment.

  Great flick. Good job with writing for the 1960's and explaining Hank McCoy's genious and how Beast started, and Havoc as Scott Sommers father obviously, and explaining how Raven/Mystic apparently ages slowly so she can appear youthful in the previous xmen movies. Great references to the future films. Acting certainly helped in this movie but January Jones was a waste of time. Does she have acting abilities???? Otherwise it was great and worth seeing in theatres.

  The movie was great.... I was really young when i watched the cartoon and had pretty much forgotten the whole story... the movie talks a lot about the history of how things began which was really interesting and portrayed professor X's passion very well...

  Great X-Men movie, like how the add the beginning of the first X-Men movie into the beginning of this movie, my two problem with the movie is were is polaris and these are not the First X-MEN
