  91/100 A bit more than a decade after the events of "The Terminator", two cyborgs are sent back in time to find their target, John Connors - an old style terminator to protect and a liquid metal terminator to kill. After the huge success of the first film, the sky was the limit on the budget for this one and it shows in the eye bulging spec fx and some of the most chaos driven action on screen. Many consider this the best of the Terminator films. Some consider this one too Hollywood and prefer the hard edged, lower budget, organic quality of the original.   Certainly a great movie and - along with the original Terminator - the best of the franchise, especially the extended cut (though some scenes add a lot while others are a bit distracting). Always impressed with the scenes between young John and Arnold the machine, a very interesting relationship. I was a bit disappointed by the 4K release on Bluray, only the theatrical cut fully restored and then with awkward changes of colors. The Van Ling DVD is still the best…

  The best Terminator movie out of them all. The movie had everything that makes a good movie acting, action and good story.
