A breath taking epic; the Ents and Rohirrim came to life as well as Gollum who looked real. very real. Thank god for the flooding of Isengard scene, and as hard as it was to translate the 4th and 5th book to screen, PJ did a superb job, 3 thumbs up.

They should have stayed true to the book a bit more. The wraiths and dragons didn`t look as scary, the dragon looked too silly and whats with the eye? Yes the eye is there in the book, but im sure the dark lord wasn`t just an eye. Faramir`s personality change was ok with me, and the elves showing up was acctually a smart touch. Helm`s Deep was amazing but I`m sure Elrond wasn`t that bad in the books. Gimli was really boring me out, and legolas` cool stunts were over done. By the way, what happened to all the deleted scenes and cut chapters?
