Worst movie I have seen in years. Waste of my good hard earned money. Still trying to figure out what the movie was about. No idea why it was nominated for a golden globe. it stunk

I'm not giving anything away by saying that the last 15 minutes show how the movie isn't really about Bardem, Brolin or the chase. It's about the sheriff and his struggles with the changes around him that he can't control. And I'll add this. Anton is the best movie villain since Hannibal Lector, and probably equals him.

Really disappaointing movie as it had a great concept and idea but failed to deliver and left you hanging along with useless character development.

I love the Cohen brothers amd generally thought this movie was great film making, but I must admit, I too did not "get" the last 15 minutes. Can somebody please explain it. Lots of black humour, Josh Brolin was top notch, and Bardem was appropriately creepy

A goddamn masterpiece. Some people won't "get" this movie, and thats fine, but for the others, this is an awesome piece of filmmaking with an ominous ending that will haunt you long after you leave the theatre. Bardem's character is the definitive human portrayal of pure evil. The lack of any soundtrack will surprise many people, but it adds so much to the intensity of this movie. Simply amazing.

A tremendous piece of film-making, but I'd like to see it again to properly appreciate. It's only in the last 15 minutes that you realise the film is about the sheriff, and not the characters involved in the endless blood-letting. If you don't 'get it' then perhaps stick to Terminator-style shoot-'em ups, it's rare that such a piece of film-making makes it to the mainstream
