Back in Granby after a trip to New York, Yan, a young architect who seems to have his life together, dies in a car accident. This tragic death very much affects his four friends, starting with Maxime, his co-worker and Lily, Maxime's younger sister, who dated Yan for a few months. For their parts, Simon, who works at the city zoo, struggles to forget an old flame and Roxane tries to hide her true feelings for Maxime by having multiple sexual affairs. Unemployed, she finds refuge with Simon. As for Lily, she decides to get involved in a youth center as she tries to overcome her grief and like her friends, find the meaning of life.
