  This is another film I saw because nothing else new other than kid and horror shows were available. It's not bad. Not great either. Medieval period costumes and historical topics are generally interesting. Acting wasn't too bad. Jude Law couldn't be recognized under loads of fat suit and fully whiskered. Except for the queen, the plainest actresses possible were selected for the women. I guess we came a long way. I wonder if Henry VIII really ended that way.

  Hollywood has had a tough year. If they could ever get clear of the propaganda mill, and return to the normal world of the majority to create entertainment for I think it would help. They are making Goebbles look like a rank amateur with their non-stop mind meld.

  The women in the film make this watchable. The expected macho posing from Hardy and Butler has grown tiresome and the picture never rises out of the ordinary because of it.
