    The Rezort

The world is still recovering from a zombie outbreak that occurred 10 years ago and killed 2 billion people. One way to make you feel better is to go to the Rezort ...an island where you can spend your weekend relaxing, vacationing, partying and killing zombies. Despite the ludicrous premise that the whole security of the park can be shut down by a computer virus, this was actually the best zombie flick I've seen since the French zombie film, "The Horde". Good action, smart characters, and an whole island full of zombies. -- DrNostromo.com

    Superman

There were many likable characters: Jimmy, the Dog, Mr. Terrific, the man who can create kryptonite, and Superman. Sometimes it goes over the top - like the huge monster, and Superman not being able to get out of the proton river, etc. Not perfect, but highly enjoyable!

    Superman

This is a Superman who will rescue everyone! Superman lives up to his name. If you ever wondered what would happen to a good person who ended up with unfettered power, this movie is a feel-good answer. Simply put, the acting is great. The pacing doesn't miss a beat, and the feel-good moments don't take away from the gravity of the plot. Special props to the villains in this piece, who sparked out and were not only believable but a little too relatable. Worth the money and the evening out.

    The In-Laws

Monday, August 18, 2025 3:39:51 PM | (Age Not Specified)

Another classic comedy that's never been remade well, IMO. A dentist unwittingly gets mixed up in an international conspiracy to undermine the world economy by a man who's due to be his in-law when their kids get married. Is the man a criminal, a real CIA agent or just completely insane? The absolutely perfect comedy timing between the exquisitely cast Alan Arkin (the dentist) and Peter Falk (the ???) is hilariously funny. The story is complex with a lot of stuff going on. It works on all levels and one of the best comedies ever. -- DrNostromo.com
