  This is one of the best movies I have ever seen that tackles addiction where they aren't focusing on the characters journey through recovery. I feel seen as an addict in recovery and wish that the hollywood industry would take a look at films like this and give them the support they need! They made this movie in 5 days! With no money. Imagine what this director could do with a million dollars. He made this movie on some credit cards apparently and like 10 grand or something.

  While I wasn't expecting peak cinema (it's a sequel after all); I was expecting more dinosaurs and more action. The first half of the movie focuses on interpersonal past trauma and drama of the main characters; there is also the introduction of a family. Despite the trailer making a big deal about a lab and a mutant dinosaur we only ever really get to that during the last 30 minutes of the film. I wanted to walk out but didn't want to waste my time trying to figure out how to get a refund. The teen guy character was the most unlikable dick bag I've ever seen been made in to a hero. The performances of the main crew were abysmal - the impression is they hated the script just as much as I hated watching this movie. How did this even get in to theatres?
