    Regretting You

Very formulaic. New who would end up with who immediately. Didn't like encouraging teen sex. Very low class

    Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Friday, October 31, 2025 1:35:06 PM | (Age Not Specified)

While most movie goers may expect a big music filled movie, this movie based on the book of the same name, focuses specifically on the time period when his critically acclaimed album Nebraska was written and recorded. A introspective and touching look of a man in crisis and suffering from depression. Beautifully acted by Jeremy Allen White as Bruce. Very strong cast in other roles, too. Oscar worthy performances!

Should have been great, but it’s too narcissistic. Jeremy Allen White is terrific, though.

    Jurassic World Rebirth

Friday, October 31, 2025 11:29:49 AM | (Age Not Specified)

The synopsis is incorrect. Scarlett Johannson was not Dr. Marianna Cruz and not a brilliant scientist. She was an ex covert operative named Zora Bennett. My wife and I finally watched this last night and I have to say, I think the diminishing returns is happening. Of course DNA is central and how to get DNA? You must get it from the source. These dinos ALL started in a lab. Even if they originated from a parent dino, they are all genetically made. With all that happened in previous installments, this is a big plot gap that a powerful company needs to hire mercenaries to go get samples when they should have been able to break into a lab or something like that. Of course extracting the DNA is going to have the most exciting scenes, but honestly, the big bad dino in this movie looked like a cross of dino and Xenomorph but oddly was not that scary at all. I think jagged edges help make the creatures scary, not a bulbus head. It was ok, but not special and pretty predictable.

2.5 stars, actually. I don't know what it is, but alot of slow movies lately, and this is one. They must think we have really boring lives. That said, i liked the ending and thought the lead was excellent, totally believable. Great cars! Nice score

    Dark City: Director's Cut

Thursday, October 30, 2025 5:27:28 PM | (Age Not Specified)

99/100 The inhabitants of a dark city are being used in an experiment by an alien race that rebuilds both the city and everyone's memories every night in an attempt to determine what makes us humans tick. Although very different films, you can't help notice the similarities with the manipulated environment of "The Matrix". The film noir quality, the surreal landscape, the strangers, the writing, the performances, the absolutely phenomenal spec fx, the astoundingly unique vision, everything in this film works on so many levels. Nearly perfect. -- DrNostromo.com

    Good Fortune

Horrible acting. Looks like the actors were doing the director a favor by putting their names on the marquee.
