  dont understand the bad reviews!and whats the difference with karate, marial arts, kung fu ??? its the same concept! and kung fu does come from china.I'm happy they chose Jackie Chan. It was funny at times and the little boy was adorable. He just came out, give him time to be as good as is dad.! I wouldnt call this movie anything other then the Karate Kid!Cant wait to see part two! And it better be with Jaiden Smith and Jakie Chan.!!! loved it.!

  Wow... 10 stars. I said to myself no not another Karate Kid movie. Did I say kid. This young Smith is a chip off the old block . In fact as a young actors full movie without his dad sidekick..wow! As always no disappointment with Jakie Chan nether. Don't let the tital turn ya away this is way better and even great for all ages. I am almost a 50 year oldf women. Saw it myself! going to see it again.

  jackie chan should be ashamed of himself to even do this movie and let the producers or whomever name the movie Karate Kid..how ignorant of ppl.. this movie is purely KUNG FU and has no relations to Karate or the oringal Karate Kid..if i was a Kung FU master and i saw this movie i would be soo insulted they named it Karate Kid, this is such a great disrespect to the Chinese Martial Arts.
