My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The scenery was beautiful, making us wish we were going to Verona and areas close-by. It was refreshing to see older actors having a second chance at romance. The other actors were wonderful. This movie had comedy, romance, great pacing and a good story. We will certainly encourage our friends to see it.

A bit over the top on the mushy love stuff, but does what it aims to do.

I haven't enjoyed a movie as much in a long time! It was a real charming movie, with a good story line, and characters you could sympathize with. It was a bit predictable, but in an enjoyable kind of way. There was good humor throughout. It is rare that you hear an entire audience laugh out loud, but it happened more than once during the movie.

Enjoyed the storyline, very romantic - both the story and the scenery. Enjoyed Ms. Redgrave and Mr. Nero - all the classics for a wonderful, heart warming story.

It shows that traditional stories are stylish again, it’s nice to see movie that doesn’t have to show naked people to sell tickets. A little corny but cute, Amanda Seyfried and Chris Egan has real chemistry, very wholesome and delightful movie, but cynics be warned to stay clear. Honestly, the only true appeal here would be for a guy going to see this film is the likelihood that it will earn him points with the girl. Guys should strongly consider this film for a romantic date night out. I enjoyed watching the countryside as much as the story line. Amanda Seyfried was great, she portrait her character well, she has genuine talent.
