It was awesome to watch, kept me entertained the whole time. I am not a chick flick person and I really enjoyed it.

Better than average rom-com with the added bonuses of Vanessa Redgrave and the italian scenery.

The secondary love story and character (grandmother) was better developed and better acted, resulting in the main characters becoming a supporting cast of a cause-and-effect chain of events. Wonderful scenery and backdrop for the movie, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was romantic and truly reminds everyone of lost love (as in Romeo and Juliet - the original script). It was touching and Amanda Seyfried played a brilliant character, streching a little more than her average best friend role. Applause all round!
