this could have been a great movie. it had a great plot but just fell short in every area. the characters were flat and not developed at all. the acting was terrible and the combat scenes were so unrealistic that i had to keep myself from laughing.

a story worth the sharing including the historical racism and those who struggled with it in that era (sadly, it still remains even today here and there in dark places). enjoyed the aerials... the ambiance focused on what the tuskeegee airmen faced and achieved.

the action scenes were fairly well done and quite exciting, but the rest of the film was an after thought. the story, dialogue and acting were very poor, laughable at times. even cuba gooding jr. seemed disinterested. was good at bringing the accomplishments of the tuskegee airmen to life but failed to include the airmen themselves.

I really enjoyed this movie. It's a very educational movie and I hated history in school. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. I feel everyone should see it.

Yes this movie shows discrimination but that's what the black people had to deal with and when they win the respect of the other "white" pilots, it is gratifying to realize that it's ability not colour that counts. The movie has a good story to tell and at times is not able to go into enough detail to describe the action but it's very worthwhile to see. I'll se it again.

if anyone knows the history and the time period this is not a racist film thats what happened and people are trying to cover it up and forget it but all you people that blasted a piece of fiction for entertainment purposes are deep seeded racists.

This movie has many glaring errors, the cast is weak in all areas not just because of the no name cast that we are supposed to follow but also the F- script. Some of the worst dialogue of alltime, Lines like;"Don't remember how he died, remember how he lived" or "War is hell" bring comedy to moments of drama. Many times I found myself laughing out load during very emotional moments of the film. Also the visual effects are not up to snuff, especially when it's ILM doing all the Effects work. Where is Denzel, Jamie Foxx,Will Smith, Chiwetel Okagiafor, Iris Alba, Don Cheadle. So many great African american actors but I'm sure they took one look at the script and passed. The
