  This was a very good movie. The acting was very good even though Russell Crowe was a little hard to understand but Cate Blanchett made it all better. Mark Strong was a great villian, and it was good to see William Hurt and Max von Sydow in a movie. The visuals were very good the tower of London ws CGI but you couldn't even tell the action was great and teh battles were very well staged but the middle of the movie dragged a little. But on the whole superb entertainment. MOVIE LOVER

  Insipid casting knocks this down a notch. For most people, Kevin Costner IS Robin Hood and Crowe mostly glowers through this reboot. Also, Maid Marian is supposed to actually be hot, and here she's homely and forlorn.

  I had read mediocre reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Three things are factors in a romantic action movie to judge its effectiveness. 1. action must keep you on edge of your seat --- this movie had plenty of action though explanatory parts throughout required patience. If you are patient the twist on history was clever placing Robin Hood in the middle of these historical events. 2. Chemistry between lovers--- Cate Winslett is a marvel as an actress reminding one of a young Katherine Hephburn. Her sublte looks, postures and curious glances are terrific and Crowe and her have that chemistry that is hard to orchestrate. 3. Plot teases you to figure out the outcome- A good not great

  it was good, not great. not enough action to keep me attentive and in turn the movie seemed to drag on. I would wait until it came out on dvd

  Really good movie, make sure you pay attention though. the action in this movie is awesome, and protrays great the mideivil times. overal really good movie, is a must see:) russell crow was amazing once again
