A dissapointment! There were some clever moments, and John Williams score was superb, but for me the story fell flat and became very predictable. ):

This was a family movie that we all enjoyed - and the two reasons it does not have 5 stars are 1)the only 3D experience we had was putting on the glasses and 2)the obvious "there will be a sequel ending". Captain Haddock was well done and provided alot of the humor. You also do not have to be fans of the graphic novels to follow the story. I found it a little difficult to get used to the animation but my children were enthralled. The oldest compared it favorably to an Indiana Jones epic and the youngest wanted to see it again.
