this is a really bad movie and as usual, george clooney is overrated. very disjointed and awkward scenes involving a person on life support and her family. the best part of the movie was the visuals of hawaii and many ladies might say the 245 close ups of gorgeous george. yes, i'm jealous.

The title doesn't help as it gives no inkling of the theme, unlike The Zoo (ace film) & Warhorse (sooo moving). It was just so incredibly DULL. As a nurse I do not relish 2hrs of a theme based on someone waiting to die.No depth, just shallow like reading a book & not being able to skip the boring parts. Typical 'american misfit' family with foul-mouthed children acting like idiots, & really! Clooney's too OLD to have a 10 yr old. If I hadn't been trapped by the 10 people to the side of me I'd have been OUt. I'd rather watch paint dry

An emotional rollercoaster of a film. I laaghed, cried, got mad and sad at the same time. A lovely dramedy.
