  I really could relate to this movie. I think anyone in my age group or older would like it. Streep, Maritn and Baldwin together were great.

  Good, solid comedy. Excellent acting. A bit predictable as most comedies are.

  I have watched this movie at least 5 times since it released. It has a way of taking me home with all of the beautiful scenery, the lovely food and cooking scenes All of the aesthetics of a warm family movie were included in this film. Meryl Streep is a Queen of an actress, simply royal in her repetoire of talent, I never tire of her. Alec is also the best there is. What a treat to see Steve Martin. The party scene was priceless! I loved the cast of adult children, they were just precious. I fell in love with "Harley" he is absolutely witty and charming. I learned a new recipe for Croque-Monsieur and chocolate croissants. This movie is an instant classic. I related to the themes of

  Wonderful, lots of laughs, story line is good and many pleasant surprises which makes movie enjoyable even for us guys. Not your typical chick flick.
