this is a very decent movie, some great visuals and the story was great - something that could have been cheesy was done with a lot of artistic integrity

We and friends often do a regular "Friday Night Movie". This movie took the genre (Good Guys Prevail - Dirty Harry comes to mind) and destroyed it by developing bad guys that were beyond belief and good guys (Michael Caine and his buddy)who were in a state of deep depression with nothing left to live for. They turned to killing for redemption. Even the cops were depressing. Not an enjoyable show.

Loved this movie. Micheal Cain is an old favourite of mine, and this picture reflects well on some of his acting abilities, A real riveting acting job. It gives a glimpse of some of the seedy underworld. Unfortunately these punks love to pick on defenseless people and some old timers at that. VERY Cowardly!!! No one should have any fear of venturing out in the streets at any time, unfortunaetly.
