This was definately worth watching, a lot of laugh out loud parts and genuinely humorous

This was way better than I expected. Veers off course for a little while in the second third but not too badly. Worth the money and time.

The movie was funny in parts & Steven Carrell is so funny. However, it takes too long to get to the dinner - I would have preferred more time spent on how the schmucks were invited to the dinner itself. Overall., not a bad more!

Being a fan of the cast, I will admit that I didn't like the trailers for this. The premise seemed a bit too mean-spirited and didn't seem like one we could really relate to, and Steve Carell seemed to be presented as a cross between Michael Scott and Sandra Bullock's character from All About Steve, in other words, very annoying and irritating. So I caught a free advanced screening because I like the cast, but was unsure if I wanted to pay to see it. I was pleasantly surprised that this made me laugh a good number of times, but I wouldn't call it this year's Hangover because it felt different. To me it was half funny and half not-so-funny and/or too weird.

Not as bad as we thought it would be! Steve Carell was very funny. But Jemaine Clements of Flight of the Conchords stole the movie; he was hilarious every second he was on screen.

Steve Carrol stole the show, while Paul Rudd put in a lacklustre performance. The movie dragged for the first half, possibly in order to stretch it out to make it exceed the 100 minute mark. If one can withstand the boredom long enough, the second half of the movie picks up and is quite hilarious.

Really great movie! Totally worth seeing in the theater. The laughs from the crowd made it soo much funnier then it would be if you waited to rent it. Steve Carell and Paul Rudd are pure comedy!
