Not good. Kids were leaving (4-6 in age) saying they were scared. The movie had no colour except for the Rango green. It was very slow.

Was ok. Not anywhere close to Toy Story or Shrek.

What seems to be billed as a kid's movie is definitely not. This is an adult western which happens to be animated. My 6 year old called it "the longest and most boring movie ever!". The funny bits have all been shown in the trailers.

Seriously? Prostate and laxative jokes in a kids' movie? Oh, and if you're thinking that it's like Shrek or one of those movies where there's both adult and kid humor, it's not. I took 3 kids to it, ranging from 11 to 5, and there was a span of over 1/2 an hour where no one laughed. It was terrible. The 11 year old looked told me "the plot was weak".

This movie was inappropriate for children. I'm all for a little bit of adult humor in kids movies, but this was way off base. The movie theatre was packed and no one was laughing. The use of the word hell was repeated so many times I began wondering if I should begin counting and was shocked when a character told another one to go to hell. I didn't find the use of the words prostate or mammogram to be humorous. The story line and characters where good, but all it all it was very poorly done.
