  Excellent movie! fast paced and full of surprises, recommending to everyone. funny and extremely entertaining, Guy Ritchie is brilliant, somehow he's topped the first! of course RDJ and JL do a fabulous job again as well. Already want to see it again!

  I loved this movie, great special effects and I love the relationship between Holmes and Dr. Watson. Robert Downey Jr is a great character for this film....good job!

  Four words come to mind: Hyper-fake, ludicrous, insipid, and stupid. The problem with this type of movie is that you can't get involved in any way but superficially. The characters are beyond being cared about. You can't become engrossed by something you know is false. And pictures of people doing things people cannot do, while certainly attention getting at first, after a few minutes becomes boring. There is nothing in this film to be interested in except just special effects. They are good. But really, you can only eat so much raw sugar before you want something more nourishing. Special effects can be very effective when there is a reasonable story that you can believe in and identify with
