Joy Ride was a very Thrilliing and Exciting movie. Its a fun movie to watch, with a mix of suspense, action and comedy. All of the actors/actresses acted very strongly to their chracters. The film did work very well without the ususal brutal attacks, and if there was, it was mostly offscreen. **** stars!! For those wondering what will happen to the ending, the DVD, will feature *4* alternate endings (29 mins long!) as far as I heard. So check it out!

I was very surprised by this movie! I went in thinking it would be another hacked teenage Scream-esque type movie but found it very suspensfull even without the gore. The characters were believable enough to keep us interested in them and, by keeping the physical appearance of the trucker a mystery, it heightened that suspense all the more! (which also makes a good slide in for a Part 2) All in all I enjoyed the movie so I am giving it 4 stars.

Joy Ride was incredible. Not as scary as, per say, Jeepers Creepers, but it gets the job done. I m glad you actually get to SEE Rusty Nail; if it was only his rig, it would suck just a little bit. Steve Zahn apparantly IS capable of serious acting. Great movie, especially the fact that it s so believable. Four stars.

Stealth 18-wheler. Is that a standard feature in all trucks? I mean how does this guy get around everywhere, follows these kids, kidnaps a girl, and no one sees this huge truck buming around? And what s up with sending all of the killing conversation through the ham radio? Meetings, murder, pleading for life, etc. All this goes out there and no one else hears it??

The movie had a simple plot but it keeps you at the edge of your seat for most of it. Great time and would definately recommend it to anyone.
