Awesome effects, great actors and a Shyamalan genius work of art. Can't wait for Part 2.

If the dialogue wasn't so incredibly bad this movie would have been great - the story was enjoyable, I enjoyed the fx, the actors are for the most part young and so could not work past the dialogue and there the fault lies with the director and writer - I do actually want to see the next chapter in this film but I guess it depends on how well this does - Do not see the 3D - its a cash grab giving nothing more to the experience than hasn't been seen in 3D work in the last 30 years - james cameron set the bar a lot higher for what I want to see as cool 3D on screen and this did not have it.

This should have been great.Good story, and built in audience. but with horrible dialouge and even worse acting, it just not up worth it. Not even the okay special effects can save this.

I was really hoping this was going to be a good movie. I really enjoyed the series and thought there was much potential for epic cinema. The dialogue was absolutely horrible, the acting was mostly terrible, and the overall effect was completely unbelievable. On the plus side, some of the effects were good and the recreations of the different villages were stunning. If effects and scenery were all that you are looking for, than this is the movie for you. Anything above that is severely lacking.

I would give this movie zero stars if I had the option. Everything about the movie was absolutely horrible. The acting, special effects, 3D technology (was I watching a 3D movie?). I fell asleep during an action movie...first time. This movie is on my list of all time worst movies. Don't bother downloading it.

I honestly felt it was boring and a waste of money. Also it didn't seem to really be in 3D at all.
