I saw Despicable me about a week ago. It was a very cute movie. It had things that both kids and adults would get humour-wise. I give props to Despicable Me for having a Kim Jong-il?North Korea reference in relation to Gru trying to steal a shrink ray that an Asian country is trying to use for greater evil. Despicable Me is an amazing tale of how a villain looking for acceptance both from society and his mom turns from bad to good when Gru takes on a trio of plucky young girls from a local orphanage for girls. Even though Gru has the primary motive of using the girls to steal the shrink ray from his nemesis, Vector, Gru ultimately starts to care for the three girls. This movie is great and w

Despicable Me was really funny! But most of the really funny parts were already seen from the trailer.. The animations were also cool because you could see each strand of hair on the little girl's head. The ending was nice but a bit obvious because it was a family movie.. :)

First of all, to make your time worth, let me tell you what kind of movies I like and/or dislike (you know, to see if my taste is compatible with yours). Taking into account only what would be considered "family friendly movies", Pixar cannot be topped. From Pixar I believe that "The Incredibles" is its under appreciated best product, although I have a soft spot for "Finding Nemo" and "Up" (hey, I agree, "Toy Story" and "Monsters Inc." are awesome!). Their worst effort is without a doubt "Cars" (I almost don't even like it), but even that is above a lot of other crap from other studios. I like the first "Shrek", "Kung-Fu Panda"; found "9" and "Coraline" a little bit boring (but interes
