What utter horror was this movie. SUPERMAN is ruined for ever. Don't waste your time in seeing this trash

This was by far the worst rendition of Superman. Waste of $100 for tickets and concessions. It's not even worth renting.

The movie was choppy, and the effects were amateur. Waste of time.

Really 4 but I'm offsetting the triple 5 star vote. Superman is very handsome and I love his big heart, and his down-home folk parents. I enjoyed the movie, but did find myself saying under my breath, early on, "this is stupid". But it did get better and was entertaining. The dog actually saved Superman's hide a few times, as did his other superhero friends. Good mix of humor!

Finally got it right. Lex Luther was awesome! Honestly the whole cast did a beautiful job. This is the start of something great for the DCU!

I don’t know why Hollywood has a problem with virtue but they seem to want to emphasize flaws in our “heroes”. Even in Superman, Hollywood has to paint Superman’s parents as harsh and “oppressive” toward those they seemingly find less worthy. “Good” people have to be tarnished. It’s just indicative of our culture and the narrative Hollywood prefers. I’m sick of political messages.

This is a great movie! However...Krypto, the little dog, kind of steals the show from the other actors.
