There is no movie that Michael Caine cannot star in. Another great example of this mans versatility and style. Caine plays both sympathetic and vengeful at the same time. Think "Grand Torino" and then think again.

Caine's impeccable performance gives the film unlikely stature. It's impossible to imagine the movie without him.

A violent and raw, gritty English film. Dealing with the the low-life teenagers of a London council estate who terrorize the residents there with their thuggish behaviour. An ex-military man takes revenge on the thugs, drug dealers who killed his old friend. The scenes are very extreme and very realistic. The violence might be slightly over exaggerated towards the end. However this is a very well made film, with Michael Caine giving a great performance that will have you rooting for him all the way

I wish Michael Caine had made this movie about 15 years ago. His age feels a little too advanced to make this believable. But beyond that, this is a very good, very gripping piece of work.

Not bad; not bad; but a little stale.

Revenge move that works thanks to a strong cast and interesting story line. Michael Caine is the perfect hero in this less than savoury story about greed, respect and revenge. Won't get the credit it deserves, but well worth checking out!

Amazing performance from Caine, it's a more grounded Death Wish.

Caine is a very good actor, who always seems to be able to find work. I wonder why that is?
