For a Horror/Thiller movie, where was the horror and where was so called thiller factor. To me it was dull and boring with a script that only Hollywood writers spew out. The title of the movie makes no sense .... what little action there was was the Heroine running around screaming while being chased. The evil witch with her one shot only spell that could be used by anybody was a joke. The only horror I got from this movie was paying to see it.

It wasn't by any means a "terrifying" movie, but was packed with suspense and some disturbing discoveries. I really loved the music, or I should say score, in certain scenes. It really helped create some welcome cinematic anxiety! This movie attempted some jump scare scenes, but none were very successful to me. The major "horror" lies within the story itself, and the movie does a great job at unfolding the layers of mystery to reveal the true nightmare. I could honestly see a prequel being a success to this, as it leaves you with some pondering about "how did it all get to this?!" Overall we enjoyed it and think it was worth it to see it on the big screen.

As someone who loved Barbarian, this is such an upgrade. Gnarly gore, an unhinged villain and a fantastic third act. This is meant to be seen in theatres.

Still mystified by the title. But, enough about that. Good thrills, good bad "guy", makes no sense, didn't like the ending. Oh yeah, the score had bad timing, and some scenes would have been more gripping with no score. Score can really help or hurt a film. Can we have a horror film these days without kids, please? Thank you P.s. i'm trying to like ruth from ozark, but she just might not be that good of an actress

This is hardly a scary movie. There are a couple of jump scenes but very short. Slow, dragging, never got to any point. Don’t waste your money!!

The movie took way too long to get to the point.
