  Winter's Bones (WB) explores the stength, persevaration and ambitions of the main caracter. Throughout the movie, the audience can enjoy the conflicts, the gritty environment and the filming style that WB has to offer. A real interesting movie.

  Jennifer Lawrence does an excellent job in the role of Ree, a teenager who has the responsibility of looking after her mother and her two young siblings. It was intense and thought provoking, but I loved it.

  We (age 59-65) didn't enjoy this movie at all. It was dark. Boring. Moved very slowly. Character development was slow; took too long to "care". I fell asleep several times before finally leaving before its end.

  This movie was totally "Meh". I was looking forward to seeing this movie after hearing fantastic things about it from See Mag and IMDB's review section - but man, I was left really disappointed. It was an alright concept, had an interesting setting, but this movie was lacking a few things - one of those things is content. To keep the rating 14A,gore and sex were completely left out. There was some violence at least, but all too often potential for a awesome dramatic scenes would be thrown out the window for mediocrity. Basically, if you don't like blood, sex, drama, comedy, you'll love this movie.

  I grade hard.This is an excellent movie.The story I am still thinking back about for clues.Wonderful acting.The scenery perfect.
