Quite an intense movie throughout. It opens up my understanding of how troops deal and work in such war-ridden countries. I would say 3.5 just because the storyline wasn't too extensive.

An absolute masterpiece. Compelling on many levels: aside from superb acting and an excellent plot, the movie has a depth and profundity worthy of high art. Too bad Hollywood does not produce movies of such caliber on a regular basis.

Not your typical "war" movie. One word - Intense. I was on the edge of my seat during the whole movie.

Good film that should make us thankful that we live in Canada and that a simple outing will not be destroyed by an IED.Well acted and full of tension.

This is a definite "mucho macho" movie that rocks as it contains thrills and suspenseful excitement. Jeremy Renner is a "wild man"!

I thought it was excellent although perhaps a 5-star rating is a tad generous. (it should be more like 4.5) Very well-crafted, definitely worth seeing if you're a fan of intelligent suspense.

I rarely give 5 star ratings...this flic is one of the few. An absolutely riveting, edge of your seat movie. Great performances, excellent writing and direction. Look for this one at Oscar time. The best movie I have seen this year by far.

By far the best movie made this year and perhaps in the past decade. Mark Boal has achieved a perfect narrative with great dialogue and Kathryn Bigelow has done an incredible job directing. This movie excels in almost all aspects of film and is a must see for everyone.
