I had a different idea in my head than what actually happens. I only gave this a 2 star rating. Even my husband didn't enjoy it.

Anyone complaining of the violence is clearly unaware of who Tarantino is. This move was very much less gory than I expected from a Tarantino flick. Surprisingly it was much better than I thought it would be. It ended up being very entertaining. It was a light hearted (if you can call it that)take on the WWII era that was remeniscient of Hogans Heroes in a way.

If you like Tarantino's movies and his style of story telling you will love this movie. It truly is one of his best movies he has ever done. Of course it is violent and twisted, if you expected anything less, then you do not his style at all and you will probably not enjoy this movie. Worth seeing for sure.

Some good acting / dialgue instead of full time CGA action. The subtitles could have stayed up a little longer.. I am surprised that this has a 14A rating... it should have been R... Censor board needs to open their conscience and eyes...

I cant believe its rated as 14A,,, it has so many scense of violence, peoples skulls being cut open with a knife, dead bodies and blood throughout the whole movie plus its boring as hell and like 2 hours and 30 mins long,,,, its a gay movie

Not Tarantino's best but worth a look. Brad Pitt's character was the weak link for me and the trailers would have had you believe that he played a larger role in the movie. Lot's of long conversations that are quite suspenseful. Violence is what you would expect from Tarrantino. The use of long camera takes and the selection of music reminded me of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and other such films. I actually think I heard QT on a talk show saying he tried to evoke those feelings. A Jewish friend of mine said she and other Jewish people celebrate the ending.

Horrible..outrageously violent... I will say that Christoph Waltz did give a terrifying, realistic performance as the SS officer hunting down Jewish victims....How this type of movie could ever be viewed as 'entertainment' is not conceivable to me... Somebody needs to recommend a few more sessions with a "Shrink" for Tarantino....
