  I was curious to see how this remake would fare on screen these many years later. I have to say, the original is just far to classic and has a patina that just can't be replicated, even with this cast. This shouldn't have been touched.

  I really enjoyed this movie, especially watching Jaden Smith grow up to be like his daddy. He was great and I loved the fresh new version of this Karate Kid. The only downfall was that it was a little on the long side, but had a good time anyways.

  I actually thought this movie was quite good. I mean, Jaden Smith has a LOT of work to do to become a great actor, but he is definitely a good actor. Was refreshing to see Jackie Chan in a film like this - he played the part well and did the classic (original Karate Kid) justice.

  very well done.....didnt like to see him got beaten up..but a freat movie..jackei chan is the best
