My local paper's movie critic rated this quite high. Not sure why, this drek is horrible. The acting was very weak, the story was never fleshed out. Too many side stories and some underlying abusive parent thing that kept flipping back and forth not to mention the hate / love flip flop Brody does. I agree it was a good story with real potential. The movie simply tried do do too much and failed with everything.

This movie deserved a lot better. It had an original idea, but the director, writing and acting were just lame and idiotic. Too bad, it had a lot of potential.

Barely any gore for a 18A flick, no epic kill scenes, just weird mutant fetish porn

Very interesting. Pushes boundaries. Felt like the face looked a little too human, like eyebrows didn't really fit.

Here it is. Another VERY controversial sci-fi flick. The ratings/reviews so far are a very accurate depiction of what to expect: You will either love the movie, or hate it. I loved it, because I hated the transformations that the characters went through. The fact I was pulled in enough to have an emotional response to the characters is why I love it. 5-stars. For those that insist on condemning it because of your religious beliefs, let me remind you of something Jesus said himself, "Judge not, that ye be not judged." - Matthew 7:1

Checkout RottenTomatoes - they give a very good review. Saw the movie and agreed. The Director pushed some limits and made me ponder about some ethics and some other stuff. First time I saw a full audience feel for a Character in tandem. Go see it.

The Story I did not like. We should not mess with God's creations they were made the they are for a purpose but the acting was goog and the special affects were good.

I don't know what these people are talking about. It is the best science fiction movie to come out in a long time. I jumped out of my seat a couple of times. Movies are supposed to be entertaining and this one definitely is worth seeing. It exeeded my expectations. Sara Polley is going to go a long way in this business. Dren is a very interesting character and her evolution and metamorphosis in the end was surprising and frightening.
